Employee Badge

I was asked to design some new identification cards for Helm & Sons. They said they wanted something professional and still fun; in thinking abstractly about other companies that want to achieve the same thing, I realized that there were companies out there with ID cards that were so beautiful that children collected them; and getting possession of a top employee’s card was something to be coveted. I’m of course talking about major league baseball and their trading cards. These gave stats and data points along with large photos of the staff, all while conveying a clear consistent graphic style. Emulating these elements along with the graphical stylings of the company that I had already established, I was able to create these employee badges that achieved exactly that.
